Il paziente si presenta con un dolore al dente 26. Si nota un’estrema curvatura canalare mesiale-buccale.
Il trattamento è stato completato in due appuntamenti intervallati da idrossido di calcio.
Il canale è stato preparato con File Sapphire EdgeEndo. Per l’otturazione è stata utilizzata guttaperca a condensazione verticale a caldo.
Pre-Op The patient was referred to our endodontic practice for evaluation and treatment of tooth 26. Clinically #26 was percussion tender and testing revealed no cold response, no other abnormalities noted. Pre-op x-rays revealed DB periapical radiolucency with an intact Porcelain fused to metal crown. Endodontic diagnosis: #26 Pulpal Necrosis with Symptomatic Apical Periodontitis.
Cone-Fit Tooth #26 accessed, located MB, DB and P canals. Glide path established with hand files and canals instrumented with EDGE SEQUELTM SAPPHIRE rotary files. Canals were instrumented on the MB to 24mm 20/04, DB 23mm 25/04, and P 24MM 30/04
Post-Op Working lengths were determined via apex locator followed by radiographic confirmation. The canal system was obturated with GP and BC bioceramic sealer utilising warm vertical condensation followed by backfilling with GP. The access cavity was restored with a bonded dual cured composite core material.
